It is a requirement of registration that all FDC educators provide evidence of Building Permits and Certificates of Final Inspections for all building works conducted over the past 10 years.
The City of Greater geelong has a duty of care to ensure the safety of all children who use FDC. It is also important to reduce the risk of litigation to FDC educators and the City in the event of an accident.
All new building works must comply with the current legislation. Glazing ( new or replacement glass) must be in accordance with AS1288.
If your home/venue has not had any building works completed over the past 10 years please complete the relevant section only.
If you are unsure if the home/venue has under-gone any building works in the past 10 years you can request details via the City for a small fee. This is done is the City's website www.geelongaustralia.com.au
FDC educators in rental properties may wish to approach their landlords or property managers for information to complete the form.
